On 23 January 2019, the United States recognized Juan Guaido as the new interim President of Venezuela. Two days later, the Trump Administration announced sanctions against that nation’s state-owned oil and natural gas company (PdVSA).
In November 2018, Vår Energi (formerly Eni Norge) and Simon Møkster Shipping signed an agreement to upgrade the supply vessel Stril Barents in order to reduce CO2 emissions.
