Greensea Receives 2018 MTS Corporate Excellence Award at Ui18

Greensea Systems, Inc. of Richmond, Vermont was honored to receive the 2018 Corporate Excellence Award presented by the Remotely Operated Vehicle committee of the Marine Technology Society (MTS) at Underwater Intervention in New Orleans, Louisiana. The award is presented to companies that have made significant contributions to the ROV community. The award was accepted for Greensea by CEO and President, Ben Kinnaman and Chief Operating Officer, Marybeth Gilliam.

Teledyne Marine Welcomes Doug Lockhart as New Vice President

Teledyne Marine announces the addition of Doug Lockhart in the role of Vice President and General Manager of Teledyne SeaBotix and Teledyne Oceanscience. Mr. Lockhart will manage the two San Diego based vehicle businesses for the company and will report to Dr. Thomas Altshuler, Vice President and Group General Manager for Teledyne Marine Vehicles, the unmanned systems business group for Teledyne Marine.

Webtool Cable Gripper Gets Thumbs Up from DNV GL

The CRT200 Cable Retrieval Tool, developed by hydraulic tools specialist Webtool, has received design verification approval from international certification body and classification society, DNV GL. It is the first cable and umbilical retrieval tool to meet the exacting design codes and standards for marine operations, and offshore and platform lifting appliances.

Scotland to Strengthen Innovation Ties with China
