Vestdavit to Deliver 12 Boat Launch-and-Recover Systems to RAN

Leading davit supplier Vestdavit has secured an agreement with Austal Australia to deliver twelve boat launch-and-recovery systems for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). The marine davits will be installed on six new Cape-class patrol boats (CCPBs), under construction for the Navy at Austal’s Henderson shipyard in Western Australia.



U.S. Coast Guard Orders Four Additional FRC’s from Bollinger Shipyards

The U.S. Coast Guard has awarded Bollinger Shipyards, LLC (“Bollinger”) four additional Sentinel-Class Fast Response Cutters (FRC). This announcement brings the total number of FRCs awarded to Bollinger up to 60 vessels since the program’s inception. The Coast Guard’s Program of Record is to procure 64 FRCs.
