As a result of the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Undersea Defence Technology (UDT), organized by Clarion Events, scheduled for 8-10 December in Rotterdam, will no longer take place in 2020.
The decision has been taken to delay the event due to ongoing disruption to international travel, discussions with key stakeholders and government restrictions on conferences and exhibitions remaining in place throughout the remainder of 2020. As a result, UDT will next take place on, June 29 to July 1, 2021 in Rostock, Germany.
Tracy Bebbington, Event Director, Clarion Events Defence and Security, added: “It is with sadness that we have taken the decision to postpone UDT 2020, it is in the best interests of the health and safety of our attendees, speakers and partners. We look forward to welcoming the UDT community to gather together again in Rostock, Germany in 2021 for a world class event that was worth the wait.”
Clarion, with the help of the UDT Technical Planning Committee, have already hosted a series of webinars focused around the streams within the ‘live’ conference and full details of these can be found here.
