Subsea7 announced the award of a sizable contract by Talos Energy for the Sunspear development in Green Canyon Block 78, in the Gulf of Mexico.

Argeo Venture has completed its conversion upgrade in Norway and started the transit on April 7th towards West-Africa for a project with international energy company TotalEnergies. The project is progressing according to plan and both the 90-meter-long vessel and the Hugin Superior AUV has completed its sea trials and is currently in transit.

Aker Solutions has been awarded a sizeable EPCIC-contract for the Brasse tieback project for OKEA.

C-Kore Systems, a UK company specializing in automated subsea testing tools is celebrating the mobilization of their 800th unit. The job is with a major operator off the coast of West Africa for a fault-finding operation on a complex subsea electrical network.

Subsea specialist Sulmara has helped Bayou Bend CCS LLC unearth the “best data we’ve seen” from an uncrewed surface vessel (USV) during a high-resolution geophysical survey at the Bayou Bend carbon capture and storage project.

Bordelon Marine LLC has renewed the charter agreement with Oceaneering International, Inc. (“Oceaneering”) for the MV Brandon Bordelon; 260’ DP2 Jones Act Compliant Ultra-Light Intervention Vessel for an additional two-year firm term plus one-year additional option. The charter agreement renewal commenced in March 2024.

PGS has received a letter of award for a large 3D contract offshore South Atlantic margin from a multiclient company. A Ramform Titan-class vessel is scheduled to commence mobilization in June, with a forecast acquisition duration of up to 300 days.

PGS has been awarded a 4D contract in Northern Europe for an independent energy company. The Ramform Tethys is scheduled to mobilize for the survey in late April 2024 and the project has a total duration of approximately 30 days.

DOF has been awarded a contract for a construction transport & installation (T&I) project in West Africa.

PGS, a fully integrated marine geophysical company, together with its joint venture consortium partners, TGS and SLB have successfully commenced a MultiClient 3D seismic project located in the Penyu Basin, offshore Peninsular Malaysia.

TechnipFMC was awarded the iEPCI™ contract for Petrobras’s Mero 3 HISEP^® carbon capture project at the culmination of a six-year research and development effort.

Between January 2023 and February 2024, TDI-Brooks conducted an extensive site investigation program in two offshore wind blocks in state and federal waters. The projects involved surveying in excess of 20,000 line-kilometers of analogue and either single or multi-channel seismic in lease blocks and cable routes along the coasts of New York and New Jersey. Various tasks were carried out at different stages, such as offshore geophysical surveys, UHRS detailed surveys, archaeological identification surveys, light geotechnical coring, and benthic sampling.
