Eni Launches Major Gas Development Project in Libya

Eni CEO, Claudio Descalzi, and the CEO of the National Oil Corporation of Libya (NOC), Farhat Bengdara, have agreed on the development of “Structures A&E”, a strategic project aimed at increasing gas production to supply the Libyan domestic market as well as to ensure export to Europe. The agreement was signed in the presence of the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, and the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Al-Dbeibah.

Oceaneering and Kontiki Winds to Electrify Offshore Assets Through Renewable Power Generation

Oceaneering International, Inc. Norwegian subsidiary, Oceaneering AS, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kontiki Winds AS (a Havfram AS company) to jointly pursue the application of floating offshore wind for remote microgrid renewable power generation to electrify offshore assets such as oil and gas production as well as other small scale power generation opportunities among island states currently producing electricity by fossil fuel.
