Unique System Tales Delivery of Two HydroPACT 660 Pipe Trackers

Unique System Group have taken delivery of two 110VAC HydroPACT 660 pipe tracking systems for its pool of rental equipment.

In taking the opportunity to add the latest industry standard pipe and cable tracking equipment to its rental pool, Unique are now even better placed to serve their customers operating smaller ROVs as well as those wishing to carry out surveys in shallower waters.

The HydroPACT 660 is a small form factor pipe and cable tracking system built upon the known and proven Pulse Induction technology and is designed to operate to 3,000m It retains greater than 85% of performance capability of the HydroPACT 440 whilst being 60% smaller and 70% lighter, providing unprecedented end-user cost savings.

The HydroPACT 660 brings pipe tracking capabilities to smaller classes of ROV, for applications that were only previously available on larger vehicles such as work class ROVs and trenchers. The newly designed one-coil array measures 1200mm x 600mm and weighs less than 16kg, guaranteeing a small form factor package for end-users.

Unique System (UK) Ltd have a number of HydroPACT 440 systems already in their rental pool and were extremely keen to add the HydroPACT 660 to their offering, ensuring that their customers have access to the latest equipment on the market.
