Modulus Technology Adds AML Oceanographic to its Portfolio

Modulus Technology based in Great Yarmouth, UK, is now representing Canadian manufacturer AML Oceanographic in the UK and Eire.

Modulus Technology is part of the AAE Technologies Group, along with multi-award winning Applied Acoustic Engineering Ltd. Modulus is the Group’s innovation division, dedicated to both developing new, cutting-edge technological products and representing similar high-achieving manufacturers, such as AML Oceanographic, that complement its service and support functions.

Founded in 1974, AML Oceanographic (formerly Applied Microsystems) has more than forty years’ experience in the field of oceanographic instrumentation. Headquartered in British Columbia, Canada, AML Oceanographic designs and manufactures instrumentation and deployment systems for hydrographic surveying, environmental monitoring, and other subsea applications. Known for its field-swappable sensors and award-winning UV biofouling control, AML recently acquired the Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP) from Rolls-Royce to provide end to end sound velocity solutions to the hydrographic market.

“We’re really pleased to be including AML Oceanographic in the portfolio of impressive, like-minded companies we represent. It fits in perfectly with our plans to support our customers,” said Neil MacDonald, Director of Modulus Technology, “and we look forward to many years of successful business together.”

“Like AML, Modulus Technology is committed to disruptive innovation,” said Robert Haydock, CEO of AML Oceanographic, “so we’re more than happy that Modulus will be representing us in the UK and promoting our products to new and diverse markets.”
