Deep Trekker and Tritech International Announce Technology Collaboration

Deep Trekker Inc., manufacturer of portable remotely operated vehicles announces the successful integration of Tritech International’s Gemini 720is multi-beam sonar with their DTX2 line of Remote Operated Underwater vehicles.

Deep Trekker and Tritech International Ltd, [Tritech], a Moog Inc. Company unveiled their new integration capabilities at the 2016 Oceanology International Exhibition and Conference in London, England. Tritech’s newly released Gemini 720is multi-beam sonar lends itself to be perfectly integrated with the compact size and robust capabilities of Deep Trekker’s systems.

Deep Trekker ROVs are operating around the world. Units have been deployed in a number of industries including search & rescue, offshore energy, infrastructure inspection, aquaculture and more where the use of a multi-beam sonar system can greatly improve operations.

By listening to their customers’ feedback across the globe, Deep Trekker continues to expand their product lines to best suit client’s needs. The addition of the Gemini 720is multi-beam sonar will notably enhance the sophisticated capabilities of the Deep Trekker systems.

Staying true to their flagship product, the DTG2 ROV, Deep Trekker’s DTX2 line of ROVs are also fully portable; requiring no topside power and come complete in two carrying cases. The new Gemini 720is integrates seamlessly with a custom mount and the Deep Trekker control console or other laptops.

As part of the unveiling, Deep Trekker will now be offering the Gemini 720is option to anyone interested in the DTX2 line of ROV systems. Other options available for Deep Trekker ROVs include: NDT tools, USBL position systems, single-beam sonars, tool options, and more.
