SeaTrepid and Ocean Infinity Completes Operational Partnership

Ocean Infinity Ltd, the US based company specializing in collecting high resolution geophysical seabed data, announces the conclusion of its Construction Management and Services Contract with SeaTrepid DeepSea, LLC.

This signifies the end of the initial phase of Ocean Infinity’s AUV & Survey operations and, in line with its strategy, allows Ocean Infinity to conduct its operations as a fully independent entity.

SeaTrepid utilized its unique expertise within the subsea industry to incubate Ocean Infinity’s multiple-AUV/USV program, the first time the latest AUV and USV technology has been combined to create an unrivalled commercial survey function.

“This was a wonderful opportunity for our operations team to exercise its creativity. SeaTrepid gained, and maintains, a deep knowledge base from this program. It allowed us to demonstrate our innovative skills, move into other markets and do something truly unique within our industry.” said Bob Christ, SeaTrepid’s CEO.

I would like to thank Bob Christ and the team for the brilliant job they did of helping get things up and running.” Under the terms of this agreement, dated 6th December 2017, Ocean Infinity took over employment of 40 offshore technicians and office support.
