Planet Ocean in Representative Agreement with Marine Sonic Technology

Planet Ocean Ltd announces the signing of an exclusive distribution and support agreement with Marine Sonic Technology of Virginia USA for their range of advanced, cost effective CHIRP sonar systems to the UK and Ireland.

Marine Sonic Technology is part of the ATLAS North America group of companies, and specialize in cost effective high resolution imaging sonar systems for defense, first responder and commercial use. Offering both towed and integrated systems using advanced adaptive CHIRP technology.

Terry Sloane MD of Planet Ocean commented “We are extremely pleased to be working with MST, their systems are advanced, simple to use and integrate and are extremely cost effective. They have not been widely promoted in the UK and Ireland and we look forward to introducing them here”.

Of particular interest to the growing small AUV and USV sector is the Scout - MK-II, micro, embedded, modular side scan sonar system that can be installed in the smallest of AUVs and is probably the least expensive side scan system available on the market.
