New Office Opening and Appointment in US Mark Growth for Fifth Ring

Global energy marketing communications specialists Fifth Ring recently celebrated the opening of its new office in Houston following a 20% growth in revenue over the past year. The Houston team played host to clients, family and friends to showcase the new office with an opening event at the larger base in the Galleria area of the city.

The facilities are designed to further enhance the Houston office’s reputation after The National Association for Business Resources named it as one of the ‘Best And Brightest Companies To Work For’ for the second year running.

The event was a double celebration for the company that, at the same time, announced the appointment of Keith Smith as group exhibitions manager, based at the company’s new premises. Keith brings more than 15 years experience to the team, having previously worked for companies such as Excalibur Events and MG Design. Keith has a wide knowledge of the industry and will build on the success of the company’s award winning exhibition and events business.

Ian Ord, Fifth Ring’s director of business commented: “The whole team is delighted that someone of Keith’s caliber and experience has decided to join Fifth Ring. There’s no doubt that he will add a great deal to the creative exhibition campaigns that have delivered so many positive results and awards for our clients over the last 20 years.”

The Houston expansion follows a year of success for the company, which recently scooped five gold and six platinum accolades alongside five honourable mentions at the global Marcom Awards.

Fifth Ring also celebrated at the 2014 Business Marketing Association Lantern Awards where it collected three wins in the categories of digital, exhibition design and internal communications.

These latest recognitions bring the firm’s total international and national marketing communications award wins to 46 over the last 12 months.

Mr Ord continued: “It has been a very good year for Fifth Ring, it is fitting that after a successful run of award wins and business growth that we can announce the opening of our new Houston office.

“Our team in the US play a crucial role in our global offering and it’s fantastic to see the team going from strength to strength.”
