Kongsberg Discovery Eyes US growth with ECHO81 Partnership

Kongsberg Discovery, a leader in advanced underwater robotics and sensor technology, has signed an agreement with ECHO81 to support sales within the US market.

The company, which launched as a standalone division of KONGSBERG last year, is targeting ambitious growth, leveraging its decades of expertise to meet increased demand for technologies enabling sustainable ocean development.

ECHO81 is a specialist in supplying turnkey hydrographic and geophysical solutions for applications including subsea installations, pipeline routing, marine structures, geohazard projects, and more. The team, working from its 18,000 sq. ft. facility in Hartwell, GA, will now focus on pushing awareness and sales of Kongsberg Discovery’s positioning and communication technology, Seatex products, and the EA440/EA 640 single beam hydrographic echo sounder.

Accelerating expansion
