In response to an increasing demand for high quality training, Teledyne RESON has announced a new training course program called the Teledyne RESON Academy, which includes open style training at global strategic locations and new training courses.

"We regularly hold courses for our customers, but now also offer open style training courses so that individual customers can also sign up", says Pim Kuus, Teledyne RESON's Global Training Manager. "We have also designed new training courses targeted to the specific demands of the market place".

The course offerings include industry standard 2-day SeaBat training target at either Surveyors or Engineers, SeaBat AUV training, and PDS2000 multibeam or dredge software training. Beside these standard courses, the company offers bespoke trainings. Pim Kuus adds: "In some cases our customers require training on a specific topic. With 10+ global training instructors we have the depth to deliver these specific requests."

One of the anticipated courses is the comprehensive training course that covers the full hydrographic workflow from mobilization, data acquisition to data processing and deliverables. This unique course is being offered with the customer's preferred hydrographic software packages. As one of the previous attendees Scott Buchan from Aberdeen Harbour said: "The course gives an overall view from setup to survey and processing and hands on out on the boat. Good balance between lectures, interaction and hands on board".

The training courses are available for all experience levels and are given in various languages or through interpreters. A full list of training courses, dates and pricing can be found at:
