Greensea, creator of OPENSEATM, the universal marine industry operating platform, has recently announced the appointment of Heath Hescock as Robotics Engineer. Prior to joining Greensea, Heath automated software functions through programming at Globalfoundaries, a world leader in semiconductor production. He earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont, a B.A. degree from Vermont Technical College, and is also a skilled carpenter.

“We actively seek engineers with varied real-world, hands-on experiences," explained Marybeth Gilliam, CMO, VP Sales, Greensea. "Heath’s experience as a carpenter enhances his overall creativity and ability to innovate. He was sought after by several top-tier technology companies; we are very pleased to be adding him to the Greensea team."

Heath leads the hardware integration process at Greensea and is primarily responsible for providing Greensea's production staff with software support. He provides system-level thinking and guidance, drawing from his strong background in hardware design and solid software experience. Hescock also leads design and development for Greensea’s proprietary printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in workboat vessel control systems.
