DivexDivex Ltd of Aberdeen and Chase Supply Inc. of Virginia, USA, have recently entered a collaborative agreement to jointly assess opportunities for new military business in the USA, combining both parties' extensive experience in the military diving equipment market.

The collaboration will have a particular focus on the sale of Divex military rebreathers and associated equipment, but there is also potential for the scope of the product to extend to embrace other relevant Divex products.

"We are extremely pleased to have found such a solid business fit with the team at Chase Supply," commented Derek Clarke, Joint Managing Director of Divex. "We have no doubt that the blend of both companies' capabilities, expertise, customer support and enthusiasm will bring success, but we also remain aware that respect has to continue to be earned through our actions and products."

Divex, a subsidiary of James Fisher and Sons plc, is a world leader in commercial and defence diving product, and now looks to work with Chase Supply Inc., a company with an exceptionally strong background in US Dept of Defence technical sales, service and support, notably within the military diving sector. With over 45 years' experience in the industry, Chase Supply have over the years helped to find solutions to US military problems, providing class-leading products and systems.

Together, Divex and Chase Supply look to partner to create an attractive new entrant to the US military supply chain, through the combination of state-of-the-art products adapted to specific user requirements and proven in-service support mechanisms centred in the US.

Ron Fielding, Vice President of Chase Supply, commented: "This is a natural relationship for our company and we are excited to work with the Divex team. While military diving has been a significant market niche in our company, diver-worn gear is a major focus at the moment – not only for our company but within the US military as a whole. Both companies are up for the challenge."
