NOAA has announced a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Ørsted Wind Power North America LLC, an offshore wind development company, to share physical and biological data in Ørsted-leased waters subject to U.S. jurisdiction.

Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland joined the Secretaries of Energy, Commerce, and Transportation in a White House forum to meet with representatives from states, the offshore wind industry, and members of the labor community to identify solutions to the greatest challenges facing the development of this new industry.
