AquaGeo and YMG Form an Exclusive Technical Partnership to Deliver Transition Zone and Shallow-Water Surveys

14AquaGeoAqua GeoProjects, based in Cornwall, UK is pleased to announce an exclusive business agreement with YMG (Yumzmoregeologiya), located in Gelendzhik near the Black sea. YMG is active in the offshore geophysical industry possessing four specialised marine vessels, and an extensive suite of proven exploration equipment. The objective of the new agreement is to offer to the global oil and gas sectors a turnkey and cost-efficient exploration service aimed at acquiring seismic data in marshland, transition zone and shallow water locations.

YMG has successfully completed a number of TZ and shallow water exploration projects and hydrographic surveys in water depth of 0-20 metres with excellent data quality and coverage. Extensive operations have been mobilsed in areas hard to reach by man, with a dedicated team, modern equipment and operating techniques. YMG has always been motivated by a challenge, not afraid to adapt and operate equipment using unusual yet resourceful and productive methods.

We are confident the collaboration will bring a “new edge” to the market place. AquaGeo is a specialist in niche projects and shallow water exploration, and we share similar skill sets with YMG. We believe the unity between the companies focused at delivering turnkey services, will be welcomed as an affordable solution for many seismic contractors in today’s market.
