Applications for the Ocean Solutions Accelerator is Now Open

Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) is launching the Second Wave Cohort of the Ocean Solutions Accelerator to support 15 of the world’s most brilliant startups focused on improving the health of the ocean.

The Ocean Solution Accelerator partners with founders to provide the guidance and resources needed to turn their prototypes into market-ready solutions.

Upon acceptance into the program, SOA provides each startup with a US$25,000 investment. All startups in the Second Wave Cohort will participate in our 8-week leadership and development program — spanning from June 24 to August 15, 2019, in the San Francisco Bay Area (California, United States).

The Ocean Solution Accelerator provides unique and individualized guidance from SOA’s expansive community of mentors, partners, and investors. The program includes founder dinners, networking events, site visits, workshops, and speaker series.

We thrive on connecting each founder with the best people to help them achieve their goals and bring their ocean technology to market. At the conclusion of the program, entrepreneurs will showcase their ocean solutions on stage at SOA’s Silicon Valley Ocean Tech Demo Day on August 15, 2019, and will participate in an 8-day ‘Accelerator at Sea’ expedition to Alaska, embarking on August 24, 2019 — alongside prominent members of the global ocean tech community.
