OceanWise Grows Distributor Network in South East Asia

To meet a growing world-wide demand for its Environmental Data Sharing and Publishing (EDSP) products and services, OceanWise, a UK’s leading independent marine data management, publishing and GIS specialist, announces the appointment of several new distributors in SE Asia.

Until recently, OceanWise projects in SE Asia have been managed directly from the UK with informal local representation. However, as a result of discussions over the last year or so, various agents offering survey and oceanographic equipment across the region are now including OceanWise in their product portfolio, thus meeting the rapidly growing demand for more reliable and smarter methods of data telemetry, data management, sharing and publishing either locally within a port, for example, or more often over the Internet.

OceanWise’s new partners in China are Jiangsu Hi-Target Marine Information Technology Co. Ltd and Geo Marine Instruments Co. Ltd, based in Shanghai and Hong Kong. In Taiwan, our partner is All-Star Technology Corporation based in Taipei, whilst in Vietnam, it is VietNav Company, in Ho Chi Minh City. Hydronav, with offices in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia completes the expansion picture in the region.
