Ocean Aero Announces First International Partnership with Laurel Technologies

Ocean Aero and Laurel Technologies have announced an exclusive partnership to distribute the Submaran™ throughout mainland China beginning October 2016. This partnership marks Ocean Aero’s first international distribution contract for the hybrid UUSV (Unmanned Underwater and Surface Vessel), and the beginning of a promising new relationship with the China based company.

Laurel Technologies is now the exclusive distributor of Ocean Aero’s latest model of the Submaran™, a unique, highly ruggedized sea vessel that is completely powered by wind and solar energy. The Submaran™ can be configured with a wide variety of sensor and observational systems to provide essential data to scientific, academic, commercial, and government entities, for missions that require a persistent presence ranging for periods as long as 12 months.

Together, Ocean Aero and Laurel Technologies primary goal is to increase distribution and sales of the Submaran ™ throughout mainland China., Laurel Technologies has placed an initial order for a Submaran™ to support the growth of Ocean Aero Inc.’s. presence in China. The Submaran™ will be delivered this year to provide live demonstrations for their customer base.
