Oceaneering’s Remote Piloting and Automated Control Technology Selected for OTC Spotlight on New Technology Award

Oceaneering International, Inc. (“Oceaneering” or the “Company”) will be recognized at the 2016 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) with a Spotlight on New Technology Award for its Remote Piloting and Automated Control Technology (RPACT).

The RPACT was selected based on its innovative technology, broad appeal to the industry, proven capabilities through full-scale application, and significant impact with benefits beyond existing technologies.

The RPACT diminishes operational and environmental risks while reducing potential damage to tooling, manipulators and subsea assets.

“We are honored to be recognized by OTC with this prestigious award. The Spotlight on New Technology highlights the latest and most advanced technologies that are leading our industry. Our RPACT technology is an example of how we apply our engineering expertise to deliver technology solutions to meet the challenges faced by our customers in the oilfield services industry,” said Rod Larson, Oceaneering’s President.

OTC will take place May 2-5, 2016 in Houston, and the Spotlight Awards will be presented on May 2 in the NRG Center Rotunda Lobby. The Spotlight on New Technology Awards—a program for OTC exhibitors—showcase the latest and most advanced hardware and software technologies that are leading the industry into the future.
