TSC Supporting Oceanology International 2020

To call Oceanology International, more affectionately known as Oi, an industry conference seems understated. A staple among the ocean technology community for the last 50 years (Happy Birthday btw), Oi is Mecca to the ocean industry community—perhaps a “conference of industries” is more accurate—and TSC will be there, as always, to explore all of the latest innovations, participate in dockside demos, expand our editorial horizons, and, of course, meet with friends old and new.

tsc logoWith little over a month to go, the floor plan is pretty much a sellout. Oi is, according to their website, the place “to discover state-of-the-art marine technology from 700 global exhibitors, as well as technical and commercial insights across 50+hours of conference sessions.” Good thing it’s a three-day event, especially given that up to 8,000 visitors are expected at the event held in London’s ExCel Centre from March 17-19.

As both exhibitors and media partners, there is a certain multiplicity to our attendance. First, Oi gives us the invaluable opportunity to profile TSC’s established portfolio of publications and media channels—Ocean News & Technology (ON&T), ECO Magazine, SubCableWorld.com, OceanMiningIntel.com, and OffshoreSource.com—as leading platforms for essential industry news and market intelligence. Both ON&T and ECO will be distributed in print, and we look forward to receiving visitors to our booth C710 who would like to learn more about how trade publishing can help elevate their marketing plans in 2020 and beyond.

Second, the editorial staff will be on-site to report on all the breaking news and developments from the show and welcomes the chance to speak with exhibitors and visitors about how their companies look to shape the coming decade of ocean technology. Then, of course, there’s the technical program, an invitation to hear from experts and thought leaders about some of the pressing issues facing the blue economy. This year’s comprehensive line-up includes everything from offshore energy development and environmental stressors to geotechnics and Artificial Intelligence.

And third, as a marketing communications agency, we will be on the ground to support our growing roster of clients in the ocean industries, like Okeanus (www.okeanus.com), SeaRobotics (www.searobotics.com), and Bluefield Geoservices (bluefieldgeo.com), to name a few. We understand that Oi is strategically important to their sales and marketing efforts and is proud to stand by them in their mission.

Visit us at BOOTH C710 to find out more about TSC’s media channels and our full suite of marketing services.
