VARD Signs Contract with Windward Offshore for Two Additional CSOVs

VARD and Windward Offshore, a consortium led by ASSC´s offshore arm SeaRenergy Group in Germany have signed a contract for the design and construction for two additional hybrid Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOV).

With this contract, Windward executes the options included in the initial two vessel contract signed in October 2023.

With this order Windward Offshore takes the next important step in providing integrated offshore wind solutions for their clients and supporting the significant global need for offshore wind energy and energy infrastructure, whilst also being a testament to VARDs newbuilding expertise and extensive track record in this sector. 

The founding partners driving Windward Offshore's innovative venture are SeaRenergy Offshore, Blue Star Group, Diana Shipping Inc., and SeraVerse. Together, they are united by a shared vision of pioneering excellence in the offshore wind sector.
