Seaway 7 ASA(1) has been selected by Seagreen 1 Limited as a preferred supplier for the Seagreen 1A offshore wind project, offshore Scotland. Seagreen 1A lies adjacent to the existing Seagreen project that Seaway 7 is currently progressing and represents approximately 500MW of additional renewable energy generation capacity.

The Spanish engineering company Saitec has announced its interest in developing a pre-commercial pilot park with 5 units and a total potential of 50MW in the Mediterranean Sea in 2025. The offshore wind turbines will use SATH technology in open sea in Girona, specifically in an area located more 15 km from Cap de Creus on the Costa Brava (Catalonia)
Shell Australia Pty Ltd (Shell Australia) and its joint venture partner, SGH Energy, have taken a final investment decision to approve the development of the Crux natural gas field, off the coast of Western Australia. Crux will provide further supplies of natural gas to the existing Prelude floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) facility.

Kongsberg Maritime (KM) has signed a new technology contract of around EUR 28m with Chinese shipbuilder COSCO Shipping (Qidong) Offshore for an F-Class, Foundation Installation Vessel. The vessel will have greater lifting capacity than previous vessels and will be delivered to Danish service provider Cadeler in 2025.
