Jan De Nul Group successfully completed the installation of the 47 jacket foundations and 188 pin piles, the 4 export and 47 inter array cables on the Formosa 2 Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan. With the achievement of these major milestones, Jan De Nul brings its EPCI scope onto the final straight towards completion in the coming weeks.

CalWave (“CalWave Power Technologies, Inc.”), a leader in wave energy development, has successfully concluded its open-ocean wave energy pilot after 10 months of continuous operation off the coast of San Diego. The project, which deployed in September 2021, was supported by a US Department of Energy (DOE) award with the goal to demonstrate CalWave’s scalable and patented xWave™ technology as a cost-effective, sustainable solution for energy generation.
As part of its mission to protect the environment and ensure that offshore oil and gas operators are prepared to respond rapidly and effectively to oil spills, the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement conducted a Government Initiated Unannounced Exercise (GIUE) on Aug. 26 that included an oil spill response equipment deployment at the ExxonMobil Las Flores Canyon Facility in Goleta, California.
