Rotech Subsea Complete Two Major Cable Campaigns Offshore UK

Rotech Subsea Ltd. has completed two scopes of work off the UK coastline for a major electric power transmission cable manufacturer. The projects, which have recently been successfully completed, saw subsea excavation innovator, Rotech Subsea, deployed two of its state-of-the-art RS2 tools - which are part of the new and more powerful 2nd Generation RS non-contact CFE/J range of equipment designed, built and operated by Rotech Group.

The RS2s were deployed on two IRM scopes. The first was a six-week project which saw Rotech carry out cable deburial and lowering of cable joint repair. The second scope, saw Rotech deployed for three weeks on a re-jointing and post-trenching scope.

The contracts saw Rotech Subsea operating 10 projects worldwide, concurrently, with the 10 CFE scopes of work seeing every working configuration of the subsea excavation leader’s tools in oper-ation. This adds to a track record of over 500 projects successfully completed worldwide, firmly es-tablishing Rotech's position in the market place as the leader in providing non-contact CFE/J tech-nology.
