Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. (Phoenix) and Infinity Offshore Pty Ltd (Infinity) announce that they have formed a joint venture to provide quality Inspection, Maintenance, Repair (IMR) and Decommissioning works in the Australasia region with the highly successful Atmospheric Diving System (ADS) Hardsuit™.

The joint venture, operating under the name Infinity Phoenix Subsea, will be based out of Perth, Australia and combines the dynamic team of experienced engineering professionals, construction managers and technicians of Infinity Offshore, with the skilled and knowledgeable Phoenix project managers and ADS operators. Phoenix has used their Hardsuits™ in the Gulf of Mexico for more than 14 years to perform IMR on offshore oil and gas structures and pipelines and has built an impressive base of satisfied clients. The ADS is based on solid technology; easy to mobilize; requires a crew half the size of a traditional saturation spread; can be operated off of a rig or vessel of opportunity (small deck footprint), and because the suit operates at one-atmosphere, there are no costly decompression obligations. As a result of this new joint venture, Infinity Phoenix Subsea is pleased to now offer this safe and cost effective subsea technology solution to the Australasia region.

Phoenix President, Patrick Keenan, commented, “This joint venture is consistent with Phoenix’s objective of expanding our international presence in support of Oil and Gas clients worldwide. The capabilities of Phoenix’s Hardsuit™ coupled with Infinity’s dedicated and experience personnel will make an ideal pairing.” Simon Renwick, Director of Infinity Offshore added, “We are excited about the long term potential of this enterprise and believe that the ADS will be a great asset to our clientele in the Australasia marketplace, drawing upon both the proven technology and professional expertise of both companies.”
