C-Kore’s 300th Subsea Testing Unit Deployed Offshore Australia

C-Kore Systems announces the deployment of their 300^th Subsea Testing Unit. This landmark event occurred for a fault-finding campaign off the north-west coast of Australia.

C-Kore’s Subsea Testing units have gained worldwide acceptance with both operators and contractors for the cost-savings the tools provide, the reduction in personnel required for testing and the simplification they bring to subsea operations.

So far C-Kore tools have been responsible for the installation of 30 assets (umbilicals) and have been used to find more than 100 faults in existing subsea fields. The company is pleased to have continued to grow its customer base to over 40 clients by combining cost-saving technology with exceptional customer service.

The company supplies a range of tools. The C-Kore Cable Monitor units saves customers significant time and money by providing quick and accurate readings on the insulation resistance and continuity of electrical lines. The Subsea TDR unit can localize a fault with an accuracy of 10cm, and the Sensor Monitor can read well-head sensors directly, without a controls package.

C-Kore received two prestigious awards in 2019. In February they won the Subsea UK Innovation and Technology award, and in April they won the coveted Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in the Innovation category.
