AIS to Provide Subsea Thermal Insulation for Two Major EPC’s

AIS (formerly Advanced Insulation Systems) announces the successful award from two major EPCs for subsea thermal insulation on Christmas trees, connectors and PLETs for a major development in Angola.

The AIS team will deploy both ContraTherm® C25 (a flexible material suitable for dynamic applications and flow assurance for complex subsea equipment) and ContraTherm® C55 (AIS multi-layer composite system has been effectively used in subsea applications for over 20 years) on the project, with the application being performed in several countries, including, UK, Angola and Norway.

These awards follow on from the successful execution of previous phases of the field development for these key customers.
