Meet Oceanology International Americas 2023 at Oceans 2022

Oceanology International Americas (OiA) will be attending the Oceans Conference and Exposition 2022 (Oceans).

The dynamic relationship between Oceanology and MTS will help drive connections across the world’s ocean technology, engineering and science communities, and as OiA Event Director David Ince explains, there was more to be gained by collaborating even further: “The next logical step has been to formally establish MTS as an official Technical Conference partner for Oi Americas in 2023, helping us to develop a comprehensive content program that will support the OiA Exhibition and attract a quality audience of cross-sector industry professionals. I look forward to seeing how we can continue to work together and help to grow the varied industries we both represent.“

Zdenka Willis, MTS president noted: “Both MTS through Oceans and RX Global through OiA have a long history of bringing the marine and underwater technology communities together. MTS is happy to work with OiA to foster a technical dialogue within those communities focused on the role marine technology plays in advancing the New Blue Economy and supporting solutions to some of society's biggest environmental challenges.”

Oceans visitors & exhibitors are encouraged to drop in to visit the OIA team in booth 718 to learn about the exciting developments of OiA and to enter their OiA @Oceans competition. The OiA team plans to make great use of the Oceans opportunity, immersing themselves in the content of the event and meeting with Exhibitors including Birns, Edgetech, Glenair, RBR and Teledyne, MTS and other industry partners.

Additionally, the OiA team will be holding meetings with sector leaders to keep them abreast of the rapidly evolving developments at OiA, which runs from February 14-16, 2023 in San Diego. Networking will also be high on the team’s list as they seek to help manufacturers and suppliers of ocean solutions prepare to connect with a complete spectrum of scientific, government and industry stakeholders, technologists and engineers from over 15 distinct ocean sectors in San Diego.

OiA Event Director David Ince concludes: “These are exciting times for both Oi Americas and Oceans, with a fast changing and growing Blue Economy outlook across the region, and both events are great opportunities for the industry to re-connect face-to-face, discover new solutions and explore new partnerships.”
