WOC SOS 2017: Financing Ocean Sustainable Development

Canadian Ambassador to the U.N. to Keynote World Ocean Council (WOC) Sustainable Ocean Summit Session on Investment.

The Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS) will feature a plenary session on “Financing Ocean Sustainable Development”, which continues the progress in establishing the WOC Ocean Investment Platform – a newly developing global framework to advance finance for sustainable development in the ocean economy.

The Honourable Marc-Andre Blanchard, Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations, will open the ocean Investment plenary session at SOS 2017 with a keynote presentation.

The SOS 2017 Financing Ocean Sustainable Development session will feature a panel of senior investment professionals who will provide their perspectives on financing ocean sustainable development, including:
