Ms. Inja Ma, Owner and CEO of SEAMOR, attended the announcement of the Women Entrepreneurship funding in Victoria, BC on Monday May 13th. "I am thrilled to have SEAMOR be selected for this opportunity," says Ma; "We have been recognized locally as being an important contributor to the local economy and business community.”

One of only a few companies in all of Canada that develop remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), SEAMOR Marine has quickly grown over the past decade to offer a line of inhouse designed and assembled observation-class ROVs as well as a wide range of accessories and integrations.

“Our team is proud as a Canadian company to promote our unique underwater ROVs in a global market and continue to grow as an innovative leader in our industry. This funding will help boost the marketing process for SEAMOR: when potential customers are more easily able to find us and see our products, we know that we will win them over with our attention to quality, competitive pricing and attentive customer service." said Ma.

The Federal Government is dedicating $20 million directly to women entrepreneurs through the Women Entrepreneurship Fund, part of the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy, which will provide support to grow their businesses and facilitate their pursuit of opportunities in markets abroad.
