Pioneer Consulting Hires Marine Expert

Pioneer Consulting, a prominent international submarine cable consulting organization, continues to strengthen and expand its core team with the newly appointed Director.

Mr. Wopschall brings ten years of undersea cable experience to Pioneer Consulting from his previous employer specializing in offshore geotechnical analysis, marine survey, and geosciences services. During that time, he helped to develop international business for cable surveys and grow a global marine advisory consultancy.

The addition of Mr. Wopschall to the already strong Pioneer team gives Pioneer the heft to tackle multiple, simultaneous, global project management engagements as well as market analysis projects. With his multifaceted knowledge of the undersea cable industry, and his expertise in the fields of marine services and undersea route engineering and surveying, Mr. Wopschall’s responsibilities will also include adding to Pioneer Consulting’s existing global market study capability. In addition, he brings to the firm his business development and marketing skills as well as technical proficiency in planning submarine cable systems.

Mr. Wopschall holds a BSc in Engineering Geology from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Professional Certificate in Business Development from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business and is based in Oregon, USA
