Two fishermen whose boat caught fire off the coast of Land’s End, UK, successfully evacuated into a Survitec liferaft and from there were taken ashore by Falmouth Coastguard. The pair activated the Survitec Seasava liferaft and abandoned Ocean Harvest, when it caught fire.

Trelleborg’s offshore operation has been awarded a fast track contract to produce over 80 laminated elastomeric bearings for MODEC, the leading specialist for offshore floating solutions. The first delivery was in July 2019 and the bearings will be installed on a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel for use in the Area 1 block offshore Mexico.
