Okeanus Opens a New Manufacturing Facility in Houston, TX

Okeanus Science & Technology, LLC (Okeanus), an established marine equipment and engineering service provider, today announced that they have moved its manufacturing facility to a new space, located at 11989-A FM 529, Houston, TX 77041, to expand services, production capability and capacity starting in 2019.

The space is nearly triple in size from the previous Houston location and provides ample storage and servicing space, increased overhead lifting capacity, and yard space. The new facility includes a 10T gantry crane servicing the full shop floor and a fully fenced concrete yard.

“We are excited to announce our move to a larger, more capable facility. Our new facility, which is over triple in size, drastically expands our capabilities and allows us to offer products and services that were previously not possible and allows us to focus more on the needs of our customers. The central location also provides easy access for many of our existing customers,” said Don Brockett, Chief Operating Officer at Okeanus Science & Technology, LLC.

This move drastically increases Okeanus’s capabilities and improves their product offering by opening up opportunities for storage and service contracts with customers for Okeanus or 3rd party manufactured equipment. “The increased space and capacity also allow for expanded spooling and testing services, and improved quality with increased throughput for our own products,” Brockett added.

A fully fenced yard and larger storage space now allow Okeanus to securely store customer’s equipment, and offer ongoing servicing and maintenance options.
