Greensea Expands Program Management Staff

Greensea, creator of OPENSEA®, the universal open architecture software platform for the marine industry, announces the hire of John Moran as Program Manager. John’s main focus will be the management of Greensea’s OEM programs.

“John brings to Greensea a breadth of experience that combines engineering with new product development”, says Ben Kinnaman, Greenea CEO. “John’s background shepherding new products from the idea stage to a finished commercial product will be a valued asset to Greensea as we move more diverse projects toward commercialization.”

John joins Greensea with prior work in engineering and management roles that include Director of New Product Development at VATA, Inc., Operations Program Manager at Apple, and Product Engineer at Teledyne BlueView.

“I’m really excited to put my prior experience leading diverse creative and engineering teams to work for Greensea”, says John Moran. “With a professional engineer license, a degree in electrical engineering, and a background in the marine industry, Greensea is a logical fit for me. I’m looking forward to expanding the relationships that Greensea has with its OEM partners.”
