Gary Jones Elected to ADCI Board of Directors

Broco, Inc.® announces the election of Gary Jones to the Board of Directors of the Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI). Mr. Jones was elected at last month’s ADCI annual meeting following the Underwater Intervention trade show in New Orleans. He manages Broco Underwater Cutting and Welding product sales and has worked for Broco for more than eight years.

Broco has been an Associate Member of ADCI since 1979. ADCI is a nonprofit organization founded in 1968 that represents commercial divers and the commercial diving industry, with primary focus on safety, education, and communication. Member companies are accountable to adhere to the ADCI International Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving and Underwater Operations.

“We are happy to again be on the ADCI Board,” said Richard Ferry, president of Broco Rankin, “and Gary Jones will be a great representative for Broco and our Broco Underwater distributors, customers, and end-users.” Prior to Jones’ election, Broco was represented on the ADCI Board for two decades by Gary Maines, a former Navy diver and head of Broco’s Underwater division for more than 35 years before retiring in 2014.
