Cyberhawk Innovations, a global leader in asset management using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), has been invited to speak at two leading industry events in Aberdeen, Digital Energy and Topsides UK.

Digital Energy, now in its fifth year, is the largest digital energy summit in the country. Across two days (1-2 May) industry leaders will explore the use of digital information in delivering tangible outcomes across their organizations.

Cyberhawk’s Commercial Director, Philip Buchan, will be presenting the drone segment of the event on Tuesday 1 May, discussing ‘Digitizing drone collected data to aid engineering and asset management decisions’. Phil will be explaining how to digest data and use it to improve operating efficiency and decision making, pulling on examples from Cyberhawk’s successful track record which spans over a decade.

Cyberhawk will also be exhibiting and presenting at Topsides UK on 15 and 16 May. The two-day event provides a platform for operators to share best practices to encourage discussion on how to balance efficiency, integrity and investment.

As part of Phil’s presentation, he will be discussing how digitizing inspection results can achieve incredible efficiencies for operators. Cyberhawk’s successful completion of the world’s first internal tank inspection using UAVs, for Maersk Oil (now part of Total), will be presented as a case study as part of the presentation.

Phil said: “For ten years, Cyberhawk has been utilizing drones to collect large volumes of visual data, analyzing the results and delivering high quality engineering inspection reports in a way that enables asset owners to generate cost efficiencies and make integrity-based decisions. This experience led to the development of our cloud-based visual asset management software, iHawk, which we continue to develop based on our deep knowledge of the energy industry.

“As the importance of digitization in the energy industry continues to increase, we are already evolving iHawk for a range of applications in this sector. I’m looking forward to discussing these developments with the audience at both events, and helping them to understand the important role that powerful asset management solutions can play in their organizations.”
