Chelsea Fairbank Joins SBG Systems North America Team

Chelsea Fairbank is joining SBG Systems North America team as Sales Engineer. She will team up with Jack Mawson, Sales Manager North America in SBG’s US office based in Huntington Beach, CA and will be in charge of the Marine and Education segments.

Chelsea has an extensive background in the hydrographic industry, starting her career as hydrographic surveyor. During her 5 years with Fugro, she worked on international hydrographic and cable route surveys working with a broad range of Inertial Navigation Equipment integrated with LiDAR and Multibeam Systems to generate end-products of topographic and hydrographic data for both public entities such as Tetra Tec and Alcatel and government agencies such as NOAA, CHS, NHS. Her technical knowledge and industry experience is later applied in her position as Applications Engineer for Teledyne, working with various Oceanographic/Hydrographic equipment, predominantly for the sale, support, and development of a fully mobilized Remotely Operated Hydrographic Survey Boat, expanding her expertise of surveying applications throughout other markets such as land surveying, military defense, and mining.

She joins SBG Systems at an exciting time where SBG is emerging as a leader in the IMU and INS industries in marine, air and land based applications as well as releasing a full-featured Post-processing Software to complement the SBG INS units.
