Aberdeen Drilling Consultants Celebrates First Year Success

Aberdeen Drilling Consultants (ADC), a specialist rig and BOP inspection company serving a global client base, is celebrating as it reaches the one-year anniversary of its Houston office launch. The success comes after a number of key contract wins with industry players including BP Americas, Repsol, EQT Corp and ConocoPhillips since opening.

The company has more than 30 years of global operator and drilling contractor experience, and has been delivering its “All4One” integrated rig inspection services across four different divisions to its clients, worldwide, with the most recent addition of its US office.

The four divisions cover rig equipment; blow out preventer (BOP) and well control equipment; cyber based control systems and cyber security; HSE and rig management systems audits.

Contributing to its success, ADC has continued to invest in the training and competency of its teams to ensure the development of each member of staff and evolve the skills they hold. In turn, this has seen the provision of increased efficacy within each function of the company and first class project delivery to clients.

ADC NEW OFFICE PICS061As well as training, the company has also enhanced its service offering and has established a number of key strategic partnerships in the last year. Most recently, a collaboration with NCC Group, a global expert in cyber security and risk mitigation, was established to further enhance the company’s cyber security offering.

“Since opening our office in Houston at last year’s OTC, we’ve already met the expectations we had - and more. We’ve formed alliances with some fantastic strategic partners as well as winning contracts with key industry players.”

Austin continues: “The success is the result of the hard work put in by our expert team. We’ve invested a lot of time and money into retaining and developing our staff to ensure we are ahead of the curve and deliver our projects as best we can - this news pays testament to this. I’m looking forward to seeing further growth as we enter our second year.

“We are exhibiting at OTC again booth 1061-C11. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with clients, meet new potential partners and network with the wider industry.”
