Subsea Equipment & Service Company GoSubsea Launches in Norway

A newly established state-of-the-art subsea equipment and service company, GoSubsea, has launched its Norway-based facility, which will cater to the requirements of Scandinavian customers across the oil and gas, renewables, aquaculture, and educational research industries.

The inhouse technical team, specializing in subsea rental and product development, is led by General Manager, Helge Knutsen. Mr. Knutsen has spent over 10 years with a Norwegian-headquartered provider of electronic engineering, equipment and technical solutions to the global subsea industry, latterly in the position of Managing Director.

Providing bespoke solutions and an extensive technical knowledge, GoSubsea aims to deploy $2.5 million worth of assets to fulfill its customers’ individual requirements over the coming years. The company’s comprehensive subsea survey equipment rental fleet includes subsea positioning, ROV sensors, inspection equipment, NDT, cables and connectors as well as environmental, hydrographic and geophysical sensors. Its growth strategy includes expansion into the autonomous survey segment during 2021.
