Voyis Imaging Inc., producers of underwater laser scanners and imaging systems for subsea surveys and inspections, is excited to announce a collaborative demonstration for the US Navy at ANTX Coastal Trident with VideoRay, a provider of underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROV), Sonardyne, producers of highly accurate positioning systems, and EIVA, developers of software for maritime survey and engineering operations.

The Propulsion Diesel Engines for the German Navy’s new 126 class of frigates will be supplied by MAN Energy Solutions. The news was announced during the SMM trade fair in Hamburg that the company has signed a contract with Damen Naval for the delivery of 8 × MAN 32/44CR propulsion engines, two for each of the four contracted frigates. An option exists for two further frigates.

Damen Naval and Rolls-Royce business unit Power Systems have signed a contract to deliver 16 mtu diesel generator sets, for the four new F126 Frigates for the German Navy.

Global defense and technologies partner HII (NYSE: HII) announced that its Ingalls Shipbuilding division has been awarded a contract from the U.S. Navy to begin the combat systems availability for the Zumwalt-class destroyer, Lyndon B. Johnson (DDG 1002). Kongsberg Maritime Sweden AB (KONGSBERG) announces a contract award with Damen Naval to supply four shipsets of KONGSBERG Controllable Pitch Propeller systems along with associated hubs, blades, hubcaps and shaft lines, for the German Navy’s new F-126 frigates.
