Aquatic Solutions Conference on Electrical Actuated UW Applications

The Aquatic Solutions Conference (ASC) is an international, independent conference dedicated to advance the professional and scientific understanding of underwater solutions, focusing on electrical actuated units. By providing an independent platform, the ASC is able to generate a strong network where science and practice meet, to find real solutions for real challenges.

The conference combines both worlds by discussing actual situations and requirements, and taking a look into the future from both industries’ point of view as an academic point of view. By keeping a broad view on application areas, inspiration can be drawn from other work fields. Application areas of interest are:

• Offshore/Oil & Gas

• Environmental Research and Cleaning

• Inspection and Maintenance

• Search and Rescue

• Entertainment

This year, the Aquatic Solutions Conference will be held on May 21st in Rotterdam, alongside the Shell Eco-marathon. The conference provides academicians and industry professionals the opportunity to explore and discuss new ways for underwater challenges.

The program will start at 09:00 AM with a keynote from Mr. P. Kampmann of DFKI (The German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence) discussing "Mastering the deep-sea with pressure tolerant control electronics".
