Seanic Announces New Leader of Standard ROV Products

Seanic Ocean Systems is proud to announce the addition of Todd G. Holtz as Manager of Development of Standard Products. Mr. Holtz brings over 20 years of experience in ROV tooling, general engineering, and manufacturing knowledge to the growing Seanic engineering team

Together with Matt York, Manager of Technology and Engineered Solutions, Mr. Holtz will foster innovation by motivating and mentoring the engineering team to provide Seanic’s customers with the solutions they need to be successful.

Todd Holtz said: "I am very pleased to be working with the Seanic team to further develop their already extensive standard product line and augment their engineering capabilities. I am truly fortunate to be joining this dynamic, growing group and hope to contribute to their continued positive impact to the industry."

Mr. Holtz began his technical training after enlisting in the US Navy. While serving, he worked on the repair and manufacture of components for the Navy’s surface and nuclear submarine fleet. This sparked an interest in machining and manufacturing that became the foundation for his passion for product development. He moved to Houston in the late 90’s and where he worked for several innovative ROV firms, including a 16 year tenure with Oceaneering.

During his time in the ROV industry, Mr. Holtz has held key positions in various major aspects of the business including Intervention Engineering, Advanced Technologies, and Deepwater Technical Solutions. He has been issued 3 US patents for subsea related equipment and concepts and has also developed, designed, and contributed to the manufacture of countless ROV intervention tools, ROV components and sub-systems, and complete observation class vehicle systems.
