RTsys Welcomes Its New Head of Sales and Marketing, Christophe Piquet

As part of its long-term strategy aimed at developing its success further, RTsys, a company specialized in acoustics and drones for scientific and military applications, announces the appointment of Christophe Piquet as its new Head of Sales and Marketing with immediate effect.

Christophe will be responsible for contributing to RTsys' overall strategy and increasing offerings to both existing and new clients. Christophe will oversee marketing, strategic business partnerships and international sales and will report into Vidal Teixeira, CEO.

Christophe joins from Safran Electronics & Defence, where he has had various roles since 2010. His last role saw him responsible for the Naval Inertial Navigation Systems Department at Safran. Prior to this he was responsible for the Sales of Safran's naval INS on different continents (North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia) with important success like the U.S Coast Guard or the Canadian Navy.

Commenting on the new appointment, Vidal Teixeira said: "Christophe brings valuable know-how to RTsys and will be an asset to the management team. His knowledge of international sales and experience in the naval sector will be invaluable as we look to grow our presence globally and extend our offer to our customers. Christophe also shows values in accordance with RTsys: Dynamic, Receptive, Success-Oriented and Passionate"

Christophe commented: "I look forward to expanding RTsys business globally and leveraging our relationship with Government, Navies, Oil & Gas Companies and Scientific Institutes around the world as we look to help our clients exploiting the acoustics device for their missions from Dolphins Monitoring to Anti-Submarine Warfare Training ".

Christophe studied at HEC Montreal in Business Administration and received a Master Degree in Political Science from Luiss University in Italy. Christophe speaks fluently three languages (English, French and Italian) and is passionate about Soccer and Sailing.
