NORTEK partners with Sea and Land Technologies

OSLO, NORWAY – Aug. 22nd, 2014 - OSLO, NORWAY – Aug. 22nd, 2014 - NORTEK is happy to welcome Singapore’s Sea and Land Technologies (SALT) into the Nortek family of global sales and support agents. SALT has recently been appointed NORTEK’s exclusive sales and support agent covering the ASEAN countries. They will be responsible for selling NORTEK’s laboratory and oceanographic products as well as acting as NORTEK’s authorized repair center in the region.

Not only do they have the sales expertise to promote the NORTEK brand throughout the ASEAN countries, but they also have the people and technical know-how to be able to support our products”, explained David Velasco, Sales and Business Development Manager for NORTEK. Velasco added: “This move comes in response to an increased demand for NORTEK products throughout the ASEAN region, namely the Signature 55 Long Range Doppler Current Profilers providing the latest technology abreast of competition, especially in the Oil & Gas sector where the need for Long-Range ADCPs are growing.”

Over the last 20 years, SALT has been synonymous with supply and support of high technology survey and diving products and services designed for the oil & gas sectors, commercial survey, diving & construction sectors, government statutory boards, militaries and other clients in the ASEAN region on applications covering seismic, geophysical, hydrology, environmental and land survey markets. SALT is headquartered in Singapore and has offices in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia and works closely with various partners in the region.
