Mooring Systems 20-Year Anniversary of Benthos Pop-up Buoy

Mooring Systems, Inc. announces its 20-year anniversary since designing and manufacturing the original pop-up buoy components of the Benthos 875-PUB.

For 2 decades Mooring Systems, Inc. supplied the syntactic float, canister, and rope assemblies as an OEM kit directly to Teledyne Benthos. This proprietary design has changed very little over the years, including an improved robust urethane molded rope canister, and an ellipsoid shaped syntactic float.

The kit is fully compatible with the newest Teledyne R500 acoustic release. Sales of the R500-PUB kit are now directed to Mooring Systems, Inc. and we remain the recommended supplier of Teledyne Benthos for the pop-up buoy kit they have depended on. Mooring Systems have sold hundreds of 875-PUB kits and will continue to offer direct sales of the R500-PUB kits for many years to come.
