Global Offshore, a leading provider of cable installation, repair and trenching services to the offshore renewables, utilities and oil & gas markets, and part of the Global Marine Group, has signed a multi-year cable maintenance and management framework agreement with Equinor.

NKT has finalized the manufacturing and delivery of both the export cable system and array cables for the Triton Knoll offshore wind farm located in the North Sea east of Lincolnshire in the UK. The project comprises the manufacture of 100 km of 220 kV HVAC offshore export cables and 144 km of 66 kV array cables as well as installation. 

Prysmian Group, world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, announces that is all set to supply 770 km of submarine telecom cables for the Norte Conectado project awarded by RNP, Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa, a Brazilian Internet provider, connecting the city of Macapá to Santarém and Alenquer, which are located in the north of the Amazon region.

JDR, a global subsea umbilical supplier and servicer, owned by TFKable Group, has been awarded a contract with UMD Energy to manufacture and supply a 2.7km long subsea production umbilical for the Ledang Redevelopment Segment 2 project, offshore Malaysia.

Trelleborg’s applied technologies operation has been awarded a contract by Torgy LNG AS to provide 190 integrated cable protection systems for Jiangsu Qidong offshore wind farm project, located in Jiangsu, China. Trelleborg’s NjordGuard cable protection system will protect inter array grid power cables on the project from over-bending, abrasion, and fatigue.

NEC Corporation announced the signing of a contract with the National Submarine Cable Utility Belau Submarine Cable Corporation (BSCC) of the Palau Republic (Palau) for the Palau Cable 2 (PC2) optical submarine cable construction project.
